The ESL Specialist will be key to ensuring that KIPP Massachusetts serves its population of students well. The ESL Specialist will support students through small group teaching, inclusive teaching, and individual pull outs as needed. The ESL Specialist will collaborate with teachers to plan and execute lessons that will lead all learners to mastery and to ensure students have the accommodations and modifications necessary to fully access the lesson.
The Support Services Liaison is responsible for streamlining the processes and procedures related to IEP development, ELL student record keeping and ongoing parent communication across 5 different skills. The role will report to the Director of Student Support for the region but will work closely with the Special Education and ELL Coordinators at each school site.
At KIPP Academy Lynn we are looking for a Behavioral Aide to help us serve students who need extra support in order to be successful. The Behavioral Aide will work closely with teachers, leaders, and families to meet the needs of our KIPPsters.
Campus Substitute teachers help support our schools when staff members are on leave. As a region, we are choosing to hire campus substitutes instead of leave replacements for individual roles. Sometimes the Campus Substitute Teacher will be able to fill the exact role of the person on leave; other times, a Campus Substitute Teacher will allow schools to move staff more flexibly to meet all needs.
The Learning Specialist in our Middle School Achieve classroom will be responsible for instructing a small group of 4 - 8 students in all core content areas (Math, Reading, Humanities and Science) along with another classroom teacher. Learning Specialists ensure that all of our students are growing and achieving by providing students with a variety of supports.
