Special Education Paraprofessionals at KIPP Massachusetts help to ensure that all our students are growing and achieving by providing students with a variety of supports. Paraprofessionals typically work with students through inclusive teaching with students who need additional scaffolding and practice to master that day’s AIM.
Full-time Math Teacher
The Paraprofessional plays a central role in creating an academic and cultural environment which supports our ultimate goal: ensuring that every Roxbury Prep student will earn a college degree. In this role, the Paraprofessional works with general education and special education teachers, as well as other providers, to ensure that students with individual education programs (IEPs) receive the specialized attention that they need.
The Executive Director has overall responsibility for the effective operation of the school. The Executive Director will serve as the spokesperson for the school in the community, with the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, philanthropic organizations and other governmental and non-profit institutions.
The ESL teacher is passionate about helping our English Language Learners become proficient in the English language and be able to access their grade-level curriculum. The ESL teacher holds primary responsibility for designing and implementing direct ESL instruction and collaborating with teachers to provide English language support in other content areas.
