KIPP:MA Teaching Fellows are committed to learning the craft of teaching through professional development, coaching, and hands-on practice in KIPP:MA Schools. KIPP:MA Teaching Fellows are teaching and learning alongside a Lead Teacher, with the goal of becoming a KIPP:MA Lead Teacher in the next 1-2 years.
KIPP MA is looking for lead teachers who combine the ability to motivate and educate, who develop academic as well as character skills, and who are committed to doing whatever it takes to create life-long transformative outcomes for students. KIPP MA currently operates 5 schools in Massachusetts: an elementary school, middle school, and high school in Lynn and an elementary and middle school in Boston.
The Dean of Support Services is responsible for creating a vision for and properly executing an academic program that can support a diverse population of learners at KIPP Academy Boston. The Dean of Support Services will report to the Principal of KIPP or his/her designee, and work closely with the KIPP:MA Director of Student Supports.
The Director of Special Programs oversees and manages the special education department, state compliance with special education laws, and all facets of student’s inclusion and specially designed instruction in classrooms at CCSC. This position includes oversight of the entire special education and ESL program, as well as the Title I program. The Director sits on the school’s administrative team. This is a 12-month position
The Math Interventionist will support students by providing mandated math support through both push-in and pull-out services. This individual will also be responsible for administering various assessments.
