The Special Education Aide will work closely with a student who has an Individualized Education Plan and needs additional support to meet his or her learning goals within the classroom, one-on-one, and in small group pull-out sessions, with an emphasis on teaching life skills.

The primary function of the Speech Therapist (or Speech Language Pathologist) is to provide direct services to a caseload of students who have communication goals in their Individualized Education Programs (IEP). The Speech Therapist supports students to meet their goals, through a push-in/pull-out model. The Speech Therapist also supports teachers and instructional leaders to learn and employ instructional skills that support the development of all scholars’ communication skills.
