Our visual arts classes are some of our most popular elective classes at KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate. For many students, these classes represent a first formal introduction to the visual arts. Art classes challenge students to consider their world in new ways. Students are encouraged to exhibit zest and courage in offering their own creative interpretations of projects.
English Teachers at KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate challenge students to consider new perspectives by reading and analyzing rigorous texts and to develop and defend their own points of view through speaking and writing. English Teachers use fiction and non-fiction texts in a variety of genres to expose students to new ways of thinking and prepare them for the challenges of AP English Language, college texts, and the world beyond.
KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate is looking for a teacher to pilot Computer Science classes in the 2015-16 school year. This teacher would have the opportunity to create a rigorous Computer Science curriculum that exposes students to the language of coding as well as its mathematical foundation and prepares them to tackle STEM classes in college.
