BART’s Health and Wellness Teachers implement the school’s Collegiate Skills program and teach fitness. The Collegiate Skills program teaches communication skills as well as health-related topics, including fitness, nutrition, healthy habits, and sex education; implements prevention curriculum; and conducts college and career planning. The Collegiate Skills team advises the student council and supports student leadership opportunities.
BART is seeking dynamic, highly-qualified educators who are passionate about educating all students to succeed in college. We anticipate needing a new 7th grade science teacher for the 2014-2015 year who will work collaboratively with both the 7th grade teacher team and the science team to deliver a standards-aligned curriculum to a wide variety of learners.

The Executive Director (ED) serves as Chief Executive of Sizer School, in partnership with the Board of Trustees. Together they are responsible for assuring accountability to the school’s diverse constituencies and the fulfillment of the school’s mission and vision.
The ED will work collaboratively with the Board and school’s staff to identify current needs and to ensure that an ethos of continuous progress is embraced.
