Bridge Boston Charter School, a K1-8th grade public school, seeks a talented, compassionate, committed psychologist to work in a comprehensive, full-service school dedicated to meeting the needs of traditionally underserved children in Boston, MA. Bridge Boston opened in September of 2011 with 72 children in K1 and K2.
School psychologists design intervention programs to help students get back on track, evaluate them for special services, & review testing data. The Psychologist may offer therapeutic services to students with emotional/behavioral difficulties. The Psychologist plays an essential role in the evaluation process and may serve as a Team Chair in initial and 3-year re-evaluation meetings.
- The Instructional Leader for Math, Science, and Technology works closely with the school principal and the Instructional Leader for Humanities to assure that Sizer School develops, implements, and maintains an engaging essential curriculum, highly effective teaching and learning, assessments that support learning, and programing that is consistent with the school’s mission and 10 Common Principles of the Coalition of Essential Schools.
